HOT DOG LOAF (or how I wound up in a war crimes tribunal)
WHAT HAVE I DONE?! Idle talk of the most efficient way to fatten up a child has led to me cooking the most dangerous food on the planet. Damn you, Power Girl for inspiring this eldritch glob of grossness.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Hot Dog Loaf.

Truly, I have birthed a horror. Alas, the only humane part of this food is the egg.

As horrified as I am by this, I have to ask...

...what did you season it with besides ketchup?

Did you instantly have a heart attack? And was it tasty? And will there be more cooking with R. Stevens?

You use kosher hot dogs, lean beef and farm-fresh brown eggs. That does not scare me in the least. It looks fairly reasonable actually.

Mind you I'd love to see some andoille sausage, or jalepenos added in, but that is just me.

One staple of mine during my ramen-eating-bachelor days was throwing hot dogs in Mac-N-Cheese.

Cheese just goes rather well with processed meat products.

um, sorry, but it has been scientifically proven that the most fattening food is my family's pie crust cookies.

cookie part: BUTTER + FLOUR + SUGAR

filling (they are sandwich cookies): BUTTER + EGGS + SUGAR + VANILLA

a full batch calls for three sticks of butter and will probably be eaten within 48 hours.

I once made a cake that called for 9 sticks of butter total: 4 for the cake itself, and 5 for the frosting.
