| | impressed | ] | So I was doing dishes left out while attending Christmas/Hanukkah this weekend and happened to pick up a jar with dried pasta sauce on the lip.
Somehow, the aforementioned pureed tomatoes hardened into a sharp edge and sliced a 3-inch slit in the palm of my hand. Not too deep, the equivalent to a heavy-duty paper cut. Truly amazing!
I assumed it *had* to be broken glass, but nope. Marinara. The world continues to surprise.

In other news, I just cracked my first novel in a year. "Saturn's Children" by Charles Stross. Every bit as addictive as a Chandler or Phillip K. Dick book.

In other other news, I'm putting laser-cut robots up for sale at noon and my special $12.99 "gifts on a budget" shirts go back to normal price on Friday. |

| | Sun, December 28th, 2008 Hour 2 - Coast to Coast AM | ] | I've been sitting at a computer pretty much full time since sophomore year of college. 1996-7 or so. Still haven't stopped being excited to sit down at Photoshop and still can't stop myself from refreshing email as an autonomic reflex.
I think I picked the right line of work. |
